Commemorating: Replaced the McLean marker in memory of Major William Chronicle, Capt. John Mattocks, William Rabb, and John Boyd who died October 7, 1780. On the opposite side of the marker is a memorial to the brave foe, Col. Patrick Ferguson, a British officer who was killed Oct 7, 1780.
