A 10,000sf Scottish style castle in the middle of a 3,400 acre preserve which is to be held as open space and wildlife corridor in perpetuity, There are many historical pieces of artwork, bronzes and antiques in the castle including American artists. Tweet Kimball was influential within the community including Denver Art Museum, Opera Colorado, Douglas County Educational Foundation, Denver Stock Show, Douglas County Planning and many cultural venues. She was a respected ranch owner who worked to preserve Colorado land and nature to pass to future generations.

Funded through tours, cultural events, donations, scientific events and grants and donors. The castle is part of the seven county Science and Cultural Facilities District which supplies a large part of the total funding. Five other county sources of county funding.
