The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit, membership organization with its National Headquarters located near the White House, is seeking a Database Analyst to join our Information Systems team.

We are seeking someone with a proven ability to understand membership database platforms, especially iMIS.  The person in this role will not only use their technical skills, but also their project management capabilities to manage and oversee our resources.

A successful candidate will be skilled in the use of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SSRS Reports, and Crystal Reports.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and ensures the accurate and appropriate use of data, including data structures, in our iMIS database.
  • Will use their knowledge to provide input on requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, time requirements, and integration with existing systems.
  • Develops, updates, and tests custom reports using Microsoft SSRS Reports, and Crystal Reports.
  • Oversees all iMIS database upgrades, including testing and updating all reports, procedures, custom programs, and SQL scripts.
  • Establishes written standards and procedures for maintaining security and integrity controls of iMIS database, and other databases as appropriate.
  • Reviews and administers the technical design, testing, and implementation of all Microsoft SQL databases and makes recommendations for enhancements and improvements as appropriate.
  • Oversees quarterly security training for staff.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of database management experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of iMIS member management experience required.
  • Experience using RiSE and tools like Process Automation is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology or a related field is required; or the equivalent of 5 years work experience in database management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand how systems and tools work together.
  • Demonstrated project management, communication, and training skills are required.
  • Ability to observe, identify, and clearly articulate and document a process.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to develop training materials and train staff.

  • This position can be considered for hybrid remote work - after onboarding and training.  Flexible work hours and a compressed work week options are also available.
  • The targeted hiring salary is in the high $80's to mid-$90's, with the final determination based upon the candidate's overall experience.
