Gifts to the Membership Challenge Fund help the Office of the Registrar General process applications and supplementals by increasing efficiency in the processing of applications and supplementals through advanced supplies, materials and technologies. In the past, the fund has been used to purchase laptop computers, projectors for volunteer classes, hire summer help during Continental Congress, and secure online resources for genealogists.
The Membership Challenge also provides for The Outstanding Volunteer Genealogist award recognizing individuals dedicated to increasing membership, assisting with the completion of presenting field workshops, researching new patriots and/or new children of existing patriots and mentoring challenged chapters.
With record numbers of applications and supplementals being submitted, support of this initiative in all amounts is so very important.
Donors to this initiative with one-time contributions of $500 or more are recognized with a numbered pin from Hamilton Jewelers and this virtual wall.
