Historical Significance:
The Golden Lamb Inn is recognized as the oldest continuously operating business in the State of Ohio, licensed on Dec. 23, 1803 and located halfway between Cincinnati and the National Road. Originally located in a log cabin, the current brick building was built in 1815 with a third story added in 1844 and a three story wing in 1878. Many prominent guests, including 10 U.S. Presidents have stayed at the inn.
