DAR National Headquarters is closed to the public for the 135th Continental Congress from Monday June 22 - Saturday June 26. 
We are excited to welcome so many members to Washington, D.C. for an incredible week!

 

Gift Acceptance Ceremony

Traditionally held on the Tuesday preceding Congress at 1:00, this lovely ceremony features the presentations of tangible items (books, papers, antiques, etc.) to the National Society, the DAR Library, the Americana Collection and Archives, and the DAR Museum.

This ceremony is to provide an opportunity for recognition of the donors of these gifts to be photographed with the donation and the appropriate Executive Officer.
