This coffee pot has a baluster form on molded foot, with double scroll wood handle, leaf-capped spout, the domed cover with cast leaf finial, embossed throughout with rocaille, scrolls, and flowers, engraved on one side with a coat of arms and on the other with a crest. The maker was Thomas Whipman.
We do not have an English coffee pot in this style and elaborate decoration in the collection.
The maker, Thomas Whipman, is also not represented in the collection.
