News and standings from the Sustainer Challenge Celebration on June 28 during Continental Congress:
The 5,000 Sustainers by Year 5 Challenge has been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate philanthropy throughout the organization. Thank you to everyone who made this challenge not only successful but rewarding, and who helped us to not only meet our goal, but to surpass it by over 1,300 Sustainers!
Total Number of Sustainers as of June 28: 6,301
On our way to exceeding the goal of 5,000 Sustainers by the close of Continental Congress, chapters and states from every corner displayed their own unique style in finding ways to meet this Challenge head-on and stand out among their peers! The Sustainer Challenge brought out the best in everyone! Because of the overwhelming generosity of our members, we had to create a special category called Sustainer Gifts and Groups, to recognize Chapters where on TOP of their already committed Sustainers, one or more Chapter members took it upon themselves to provide gift Sustainer memberships for others. Some of these are in honor of senior members of the Chapter, in honor of Chapter Leadership or just ways to do this project as a family.
